Frequently asked questions

Common questions about Ceum — from what it does to getting started.

What is Ceum?

Ceum is a workspace for freelancers and solo professionals that brings tasks, time tracking, clients, projects, documents, and finances together in one place.

Who is Ceum for?

Ceum is built for freelancers, consultants, and independent professionals who want to plan work, track time, and get invoices out without juggling separate tools. Every workspace is personal — designed around one person's business rather than stretched to fit teams.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Ceum starts with a free trial, and no credit card is required to sign up.

What can I track in Ceum?

Ceum covers tasks on configurable boards, time tracking with insights, clients and projects with attached documents, and money — income, expenses, invoices, and recurring subscriptions.

Does Ceum handle invoices and subscriptions?

Yes. Invoices can be created, sent, and tracked, and recurring subscriptions are monitored so nothing due is missed.

Can I import my existing data?

Yes. Existing transactions, clients, and invoices can be imported when getting started, so past work carries over.

What is the MCP integration?

Ceum includes an in-app assistant and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so external tools can read and update the workspace from where the work already happens. The in-app command line drives the same operations, and a standalone terminal binary is planned.

How is my data and privacy handled?

Analytics are strictly opt-in and nothing is collected without consent. See the privacy policy for details on how data is stored and used.
