Refund Policy

This policy explains when payments for Ceum are and are not refundable.

Free Tier and Trials

The free tier and any trial period are provided at no cost. No payment is taken during a trial or while on the free plan, so there is nothing to refund for these.

Cancellation

A paid subscription can be cancelled at any time from the app's Settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; paid features remain available until the end of the current billing period and are not cut off early. Time already paid for is not pro-rated or refunded on cancellation.

No Refunds on Confirmed Payments

Payments that have been confirmed and processed are non-refundable, including for the current billing period and for renewals. This applies whether or not the service was actively used during that period.

Upgrading Your Plan

Upgrading to a higher tier is the exception to the above. When an upgrade is made, the unused portion of the current plan is refunded on a pro-rata basis and the new plan is charged in full at the moment of the change. A new billing period begins at that moment — the new plan starts a fresh cycle rather than continuing the previous one.

Service Discontinuation

If Ceum is permanently discontinued, any prepaid time that has not yet been used is refunded on a pro-rata basis for the unused portion of the current billing period.

Service Availability

Ceum is provided without a warranty of uninterrupted availability. Temporary outages or interruptions — including those caused by third-party providers such as hosting, payment processing, or AI providers — do not qualify for a refund or credit.

Changes to Plans and Entitlements

Plans, features, entitlements, and terms may change over time, including for existing subscribers, with reasonable notice. Continued use of the service after such a change constitutes acceptance of it. If a change is not acceptable, the subscription can be cancelled under the terms above; cancellation is not, by itself, grounds for a refund of time already paid for.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
