Quick navigation
Press the period key to open an overlay that jumps to any page by title or path — type "tasks new" or "settings general" and press Enter. It navigates between pages, unlike search, which finds records.
Keyboard shortcuts
Single-key navigation, UI toggles, and form chords. Most shortcuts are unmodified letters; saves and form actions use Cmd/Ctrl.
Command palette
A keyboard-driven panel for navigating Ceum with shell-style commands — list entities, jump to them, control the timer, clear, help. Opens with backquote.
Rocky, the in-app assistant
Rocky answers questions from Ceum's docs and your own data, cites its sources, and — once you grant permission — can look up and change your data for you. No extra token or setup required.
Workspace
Filters and sorting
How every list page in Ceum shares the same filtering and sorting — text, multi-select, tag, date range, and number range — captured in the page address so views are shareable.
Customizing table columns
Choose which columns each list table shows. Your choices are saved per table, just for you, and follow you across devices.
Editing a field in place
Change one field without opening a form. Hover a table cell or a detail-view field, click the pencil, and the value becomes an editor that saves when you leave it.
Bulk edit
Select many rows on a list page and update a shared set of fields in one pass, through a two-step Edit then Confirm wizard. Available on transactions, subscriptions, tasks, time entries, clients, projects, documents, and invoices; tags, share links, and MCP tokens support bulk delete only.
Tags
Reusable colored labels you can apply to clients, projects, tasks, transactions, invoices, subscriptions, time entries, and documents; several of those lists also let you filter by tag.
Import from CSV
A guided wizard for loading data from CSV into clients, projects, tasks, invoices, transactions, subscriptions, or time entries — with column mapping, validation, and an optional linking step.
Export data
Exports for clients, projects, tasks, transactions, subscriptions, and time entries — with column selection, format choice, and a downloadable history of past exports.
Share links
Read-only share links for invoices, documents, transactions, tasks, kanban boards, your calendar, and generated files — created with an optional expiry, optionally emailed to a recipient, and managed centrally with revoke at any time.
Realtime updates
Some parts of Ceum update on their own as your data changes — quick list, time tracker, pomodoro, and export status — across your tabs and devices.
Offline support & sync

Items approaching deletion

Concepts
How your items connect
How Ceum's pieces fit together — clients, projects, and tasks that each link to many of the others, with everything else hanging off them — plus the extra links you can define yourself.
Workspaces and users
Ceum is just for you — everything you create belongs to your account. There's no shared workspace, no team roles, and no one else in your data.
How default names follow your language
How Ceum names statuses, task types, and relationship types — built-in defaults follow your chosen language, and anything you rename or create stays exactly as you wrote it.
Import / export formats
The CSV columns Ceum accepts when you import and produces when you export, with notes on round-tripping and the safest way to hand-author a file.
History and change tracking

Troubleshooting
When you see an access or permission error
A page won't load or shows a "not allowed" error — usually because your session expired, you're trying to open something that isn't yours, or an MCP token was revoked.
Fixing errors when importing a CSV
How to read and fix the errors flagged on the CSV import review screen — required fields, format mismatches, matching to existing records, and duplicate handling.
Fixing external tool connection problems
An external tool can't authenticate, or a previously working MCP token starts failing.
Changes aren't syncing across tabs or devices
