The Data management page offers three account-level actions: download everything you've ever entered into Ceum, restart the onboarding flow, or wipe all your data. Each action has its own confirmation, and the destructive one asks you to confirm twice.
Download all data
Generates a full export of your data — clients, projects, tasks, invoices, transactions, subscriptions, time entries, and documents — in your choice of CSV or JSON. The export is prepared and made available to download when it's ready, just like the per-entity exports.
Use this before any destructive action, or routinely as your own backup.
Restart onboarding
Marks onboarding as not yet completed, so the next time you sign in you'll walk through the guided introduction again. No data is touched.
Useful when you want to revisit the introduction or show someone how setup works.
Reset all data
Permanently deletes everything in your workspace: clients, projects, tasks, invoices, transactions, subscriptions, time entries, documents, tags, email templates, and exports. Your account and your settings are preserved — your sign-in details and preferences stay, but you start with a clean, empty dataset.
You'll be asked to confirm twice, with a clear warning. Once you commit, it can't be undone.
Workflows
Take a backup
Click Download all data, choose JSON (it preserves every detail, including invoice line items), wait for the export to finish, and download it.
Wipe and start fresh
- Take a backup first via Download all data.
- Click Reset all data.
- Confirm twice. Everything is removed.
- Optionally restart onboarding to walk through setup again, or just start using the empty workspace.
Tips and edge cases
- Reset preserves your settings. Currency, ID prefixes, brand info, statuses, task types, relationship types, and your MCP tokens all survive a reset. Only your data is removed.
- There's no per-category reset. Reset is all-or-nothing. To clear just one category, use Bulk edit to select items on that list page and delete them.
- The download includes everything. Documents, tags, and invoice line items are all part of the snapshot.
- Restarting onboarding is harmless. It just brings the guided introduction back; run it whenever you want a refresher.
